What if you could explore our planet through fresh eyes?
Do trees talk to each other through underground networks? Can you slide down rainbows or bounce on clouds? What if you could dig straight through the Earth and emerge on the other side?
Join us for an exciting school holiday workshop where curiosity leads the way. You’ll explore Earth’s wonders, discover new skills, and make friends in a safe, supportive environment. Together, we’ll investigate questions like: What would we find if we tunnelled through the Earth? Does the back of a rainbow look different from the front? Can trees really communicate underground? Was our planet once purple?
Bring your curiosity and discover your own questions as you explore our home planet from your unique perspective.
Led by Barking Gecko Teaching Artists, our workshops are process-driven, allowing children to express themselves and hone their skills in performance and theatre-making. With a strengths-based approach, our Artists guide young performers in improvisation, movement, voice, and devising, while ensuring each participant's unique voice is heard!
This workshop will utilise sustainable and ethical materials to promote environmentally responsible practices.
