Book Boogie is an immersive storytelling experience in which children and families become the authors of their own adventures. Guided by two playful clown librarians, audiences discover that every book in the library has mysteriously lost its story. With only imaginative titles left, children are invited to fill the empty pages through drawing, writing, performance and creative play. Blending contemporary clowning, live theatre and hands-on making, Book Boogie transforms story time into a joyful, participatory experience that celebrates imagination, literacy and connection. Suitable for libraries, festivals, schools and community events, the work welcomes children of all ages and abilities, encouraging families to create together at their own pace. Premiering at Bondi Feast, followed by seasons at Sydney Fringe Kids and the 2025 DreamBIG Children's Festival, Book Boogie has delighted thousands of young storytellers, proving that sometimes the best stories are the ones waiting to be invented.
