Artist in Residence: Harvey Arnephie-Cook
Harvey Arnephie-Cook is a 23-year-old artist from Perth, living in the northern suburbs. He is self-taught and mainly works with ceramics and digital art. Harvey has been drawing since he was a child, and he loves to tell stories through his art. He takes inspiration from anime, mythology, folklore, and comic books, creating a unique mix of bold visuals and engaging narratives.
Harvey is active in the arts community, collaborating on character designs and concept art for the podcast After Life.
Looking ahead, he wants to build a career in animation and hopes to create his own comic book one day. His work showcases a blend of storytelling, emotion, and visual creativity, making him a promising new voice in contemporary art.
