The Quadrangle: Call-out for Artwork Submissions

As part of our upcoming co-production of The Quadrangle with Whiskey & Boots, we are thrilled to invite the talented children of Perth (aged 6 - 16) to participate in a unique artistic opportunity. We want to hear from you and witness your creativity unfold!

We are calling for artwork submissions that will be displayed in a bespoke exhibition in the Studio Underground foyer at the State Theatre Centre of WA across the season. 

Requirements and instructions for submitting an artwork:

• Participants are invited to respond (through visual art) to four questions to explore what young people think about themselves, their world, and their future. 
• Your artwork can be of any form or medium—drawings, paintings, sculptures, textiles, installations—whatever best captures your imagination and honest response to the questions.
• Please consider the size of your artwork and the materials you will use for display purposes. There is no minimum size that an artwork can be. However, the maximum size of the artwork should be no larger than an A3 sheet of paper (29.7 x 42 cm).
• Each child may submit one artwork only. 
• Submissions received after the delivery deadline are unfortunately unable to be accepted.  
• The artworks will be retained for potential inclusion in future foyer exhibitions across upcoming seasons of The Quadrangle.
• As the artwork will be visible in a public space for the duration of the season, for child protection purposes, we ask that participants do not label their artwork with any of their personal identity information (i.e. full name and age)
• Once your artwork is finished, you can drop it off at our office in Subiaco or submit your scanned files here. Scanned files must be submitted at a minimum of 150 DPI resolution. Poor-quality scanned copies may not be suitable for use.
