GENERAL
Tickets for Barking Gecko productions can be purchased:

- Or by visiting an Arts & Culture Trust (ACT) Box Office at the State Theatre Centre of WA, His Majesty’s Theatre, or Subiaco Arts Centre

Barking Gecko sells tickets in accordance with Live Performance Australia’s (LPA) Ticketing Code of Practice as required by our membership. Further information can be found in the Consumer Code.
All ticket & fee prices quoted are in AUD and may contain GST if applicable.

COVID-19
The safety of our audiences, participants, artists, crew and staff is of utmost importance to us. We're working closely with our venues and taking every care to ensure our audiences and participants can enjoy our shows and workshops in safety and comfort.
The presentation of Barking Gecko events is subject to all government orders relating to COVID-19. In the instance that WA Government health advice changes, Barking Gecko may need to update ticketing terms and conditions to reflect applicable government public health orders.

Mask wearing encouraged
As of 4 November 2022, masks are no longer mandatory but encouraged for indoor public venues where physical distancing is not possible.
Do not attend if you are unwell
If you feel unwell before a show, we ask that you please stay home in order to keep our community safe. Please contact Barking Gecko or the venue by email or phone prior to the show to discuss your options.

DISCOUNTED TICKETS
Barking Gecko are committed to ensuring our shows are accessible for all audiences. We offer a range of discounted ticket options on our productions.
Adults at Children's prices
In line with our commitment that our shows are as accessible as possible, adult tickets to our productions are all at child prices. See below for 'Babes in Arms'.
Companion Cards
Companion Card holders receive a complimentary ticket for their companion to any Barking Gecko production. To book using a Companion Card, you can now book online using the 'Book Accessible Services' button on the relevant event page.

Concession
Valid concession cards include Full-Time Students (over 18 years), Pensioners, Seniors Cards, and Health Care Cards. Please ensure you have relevant and valid cards on hand as you may be asked for them upon entry to the theatre.
Family tickets
Family tickets are a four (4) person pass, valid for any combination of adults and children that has at least 1 adult and 1 child.
TRANSACTION FEES
Tickets to Barking Gecko’s productions may incur the following transaction fees:
Bookings with Barking Gecko
- Online: $3.95 (if $36.00 or less)
- Online: $5.95 (if $36.00 or more)
- School Bookings: $0.00
Bookings with ACT
- In-Person: $0.00
- Phone Bookings: $6.95
- Group Bookings: $8.95
- Add $2.00 for Standard Post. Add $4.40 for Registered Mail
EXCHANGES & REFUNDS
Please read our Ticketing Terms and Conditions for Barking Gecko’s exchange & refund policy. Note that exchanges are subject to availability and may incur a nominal fee of $3.95 per transaction.
Please note that as of 1 January 2023, Ticketing Terms & Conditions may vary according to your seller; please check your order confirmation carefully to see which conditions may be applicable.
OTHER INFORMATION
Babes in Arms
Children under 2 years old do not require a ticket to attend a public performance of a Barking Gecko Arts production. They must however remain seated on their parent’s lap.
Children over 2 years must have a valid ‘Child’ ticket purchased and occupy a seat.
Delivery Options
Tickets purchased via Barking Gecko for public performances will be distributed either as a digital e-ticket (sent via email) or available for collection from the venue on the day of your chosen performance.
If you want your tickets to be posted, please book via the Arts & Culture Trust.
Note – Barking Gecko does not issue tickets for workshops or Gecko Ensembles; you will receive a confirmation email and your attendance will be checked at the door.
Access Bookings

Auslan Interpretation, Audio Description and wheelchair bookings can now be made online using the 'Book Accessible Services' button on the relevant event page. Alternatively, you can visit the venue box office or by calling the Arts & Culture Trust on (08) 6212 9292.
Relaxed performances can be booked as per usual via Barking Gecko's website.
Group Bookings
If you are interested in purchasing for a group of eight (8) people or more for a public performance, you can make a group booking by emailing groups@artsculturetrust.wa.gov.au or call (08) 6212 9291
