About the Role:

We are seeking a passionate and strategic and operational Marketing and Audience Development Manager to join our team at BGT. You will play a pivotal role in maximizing box office revenue, expanding Barking Gecko Theatre's audience, and elevating brand awareness through innovative marketing, advertising, and audience development strategies.

Hours: Full-Time, 37.5 hours/week with some after hours work required.

Reporting to: The CEO, with close collaboration with the Artistic Director.

Additional Conditions: Phone Allowance.

Salary: To be determined dependent of experience and qualifications.

Location: Subiaco, Western Australia.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, implement, deliver, and evaluate comprehensive marketing campaigns for Barking Gecko Theatre's season, productions, and programs.
  • Plan, implement, and evaluate comprehensive audience development strategies aligned with Barking Gecko Theatre's Strategic Plan, focusing on building, and retaining diverse audiences.
  • Collaborate internally and externally to execute Barking Gecko Theatre's marketing strategies and plans effectively.
  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality customer service across all touch points.
  • Increase box office and program revenue, expand audiences and brand awareness.

 Essential Criteria & Attributes:

  • 5+ years of marketing experience with strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Tertiary qualification in marketing or a related field.
  • Experience in developing, managing, and implementing marketing strategy with maximum efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Extensive experience in research management and actionable insights development
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools, including written communications, website development/maintenance, research, and brand management.
  • Knowledge of social and digital trends, along with expertise in SEO, channel optimization, and web analytics.
  • Experience with database/CRM systems.
  • Proven experience increasing revenue, audience, and awareness.
